Airplane Windshield

Airplane windshields come from the factory with a hydrophobic coating. Most jets and commercial aircraft do not have windshield wipers, making clear visibility a requirement for taking off and landing in adverse conditions.

Windshields on airplanes come at a staggering cost. When the coating wears out, your options are to replace the windshield, or reapply a hydrophobic coating.

The existing solutions on the market do not perform as well as the windshield does from the factory, and need constant reapplication. Furthermore, the application process includes copious amounts of aircraft downtime as the coating is heat cured.

Luminary Chemical developed a top-of-the-line coating that restores factory performance to the windscreen, is applied within minutes, and lasts far longer than the traditional solution.
